I like to take photos with my partner in photographic crime/taxi driver/half-brother, as we both like to get out of the house some weekends and take photos of our amazing local scenery (hinterland and beach, as well as some outback).
I use a Panasonic-based Bitzer for most of my photos.
I also like to churn out some rhymes with poetry every now and then in between editing pictures and playing League of Legends when I should be studying :P

:squee: So today my brother decided to give me his starter-level professional Nikon and "Bitzer" :D Well, only because he's upgraded to a thousand-dollar Canon kit lol
I haven't been able to try them out just yet, seeing as they just finished charging at nearly midnight XD But hopefully I can finally get some new shots up (and maybe some shots of fruit for my design course).
So good bye trusty old Sony with battery problems, hello Nikon and Bitzer :la:

Waterways competition - Belated winners announced!
2 years ago, I started a competition celebrating my $300 prize win of a local photography competition, and pledged a lot of awesome prizes. Soon after that, however, I fell on some really tough times financially (had to quit my job, had to leave my relationship, had to move out of home, etc) and I never got around to announcing the winners. The original journal can be found here.
I have always felt terrible about this and this competition never left my mind. It is with GREAT pleasure, that I can finally announce the prize winners, and give them their prizes.
Alot has changed in 2 years however, including the price of premium memberships, so I have had to adjust the prizes accordingly.
